Villa Gesell ha logrado posicionarse como el segundo destino costero más elegido por los turistas. Sin dudas, un logro en el que la naturaleza es la gran protagonista.
Durante años, Gesell se presentó como el resultado de espacios que invitan a descubrir la ciudad, lo que logra un claro concepto de pertenencia. Algunos de estos espacios son sin dudas sus maravillosas playas y el encanto de sus bosques que hacen de esta localidad un lugar para volver a elegir siempre. Cuando pensamos en esta encantadora localidad no podemos dejar de destacar sus diferentes atractivos turísticos tales como actividades culturales y recreativas, siempre en un entorno rodeado de naturaleza.
La Secretaría de Turismo de Villa Gesell recuerda las distintas actividades y paseos con acceso libre y gratuito para disfrutar al máximo el destino durante todo el año.
Reserva Pinar del Norte
Cuando hablamos de naturaleza no podemos olvidar la Reserva Municipal Pinar del Norte ubicada en Paseo 102 entre las Avenidas 10 y Boulevard. Este bello Pinar es la segunda reserva municipal de la ciudad. En el corazón de este bosque, quien lo visite encontrará un hermoso anfiteatro natural con excelente acústica, donde año a año coros de diferentes lugares de la Argentina vienen a participar de los tradicionales «Encuentros Corales». Existen tres museos ubicados en el corazón de la Reserva Municipal Pinar del Norte: El Museo y Archivo Histórico Municipal, primera casa del fundador Gesell que ha sido declarado «Bien de Interés Histórico Nacional». La visita guiada es un recorrido histórico y botánico por el Pinar del Norte y tiene una duración aproximada de 90 minutos. El Centro Cultural Chalet de Don Carlos funciona todo el año y se realizan diversas actividades, tales como charlas, encuentros corales, conciertos, muestras fotográficas, muestras de artistas plásticos, entre otras. Por otro lado, el Museo de los Pioneros reúne muestras fotográficas y objetos pertenecientes a la historia de los primeros pobladores de la Villa. El Museo del Veterano de Guerra de Malvinas «Livio Cossiani» consiste en un nuevo museo que ha sido reinaugurado el 2 abril de 2014. El visitante podrá observar aquí una gran cantidad de fotografías, diarios, revistas, documentos, así como variados objetos (cascos, botas, uniformes, medallas, placas, entre otros), relacionados con el conflicto bélico de Malvinas.
Reserva Natural Faro Querandí
A 5 km del sur de Mar Azul, se encuentra la Reserva Natural Municipal Faro Querandí, que fue creada con el objetivo de preservar la biodiversidad y el ecosistema de las dunas costeras en su estado natural junto con su flora y su fauna. Son algo más de 5757 hectáreas de dunas y pastizales junto a la costa atlántica con una extensión sobre ella de 21 km, y tiene un ancho variable de 3 km, donde la amplitud de las playas es uno de los rasgos más característicos. La Reserva tiene acceso por la playa, desde la Calle 47 de Mar Azul y presenta dos senderos ecoturísticos: Los Senecios y Adesmia Incana
Paseo de la Rambla
Con la particularidad que sintoniza el bosque y el mar, la rambla conecta el norte con sur, y en su extenso recorrido de 3 kilómetros, podemos encontrarnos con puentes, miradores, escaleras y bancos. Un lugar preparado para despertar todos los sentidos, recrear la vista, perderse y encontrarse, oxigenar el alma, ejercitar, compartir, fascinarse de día y de noche contemplando el amanecer o la puesta del sol.
Muelle de pescadores
En el Paseo 129 se encuentra el muelle de pescadores, dependiente del Club de Pesca, Caza y Náutica de Villa Gesell, cuya sede social se encuentra enfrente y su guardería náutica en Playa y Paseo 150. El muelle constituye una postal inconfundible de la ciudad.
El muelle es un espigón de hormigón armado de 6 metros de ancho y 8 metros de alto, con un morro de 15 metros de largo y 5 metros de ancho que se interna 150 metros en el mar, y 2 pequeños morros laterales, donde se pueden pescar pejerreyes, rayas, burriquetas y cazones durante todo el año.
Paseos y circuitos gastronómicos
En todo el partido, existe una variada oferta gastronómica para satisfacer a los más exigentes paladares: pescados y mariscos, pastas, parrillas y las infaltables pizzerías y casas de comidas rápidas conforman una combinación por demás interesante.
Las tradicionales casas de té con sus tortas típicas, tablas de fiambres acompañadas de cervezas artesanales y las deliciosas fondues, deleitarán tus sentidos, y te permitirán descubrir el sabor que distingue a cada cultura en su cocina.
VILLA GESELL, FULL OF YEAR-ROUND ACTIVITIES
Villa Gesell has ranked itself as the second most popular beach destination for tourists. Undoubtedly, an achievement in which nature is the great protagonist. Pinar del Norte Reserve
When we talk about nature, we can not forget the Pinar del Norte Municipal Reserve located on Paseo 102 between Avenidas 10 and Boulevard. This beautiful pine wood is the second municipal reserve in the city. In the heart of this woods, those who visit it will find a beautiful natural amphitheater with excellent acoustics, where year after year choirs from different parts of Argentina come to participate in the traditional «Choral Meetings». In addition, this pine wood works as a stage for many other scheduled events. On the other hand, it is ideal to enjoy an afternoon with friends or family. There are three museums located on the heart of the Pinar del Norte Municipal Reserve: The Municipal Museum and Historical Archive, the first house of the founder Gesell, has been declared "National Historic Interest Good". The guided tour is a historical and botanical tour through the Pinar del Norte and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Natural Reserve Faro Querandí
5 km away from the south of Mar Azul, there is the Municipal Nature Reserve Faro Querandí, which was created to preserve the biodiversity and ecosystem of the coastal dunes in their natural state together with their flora and fauna.
There are more than 5757 hectares of dunes and grasslands next to the Atlantic coast with an extension over it of 21 km and has a variable width of 3 km, where the amplitude of the beaches is one of the most characteristic features. Boardwalk
With the particularity that tunes the woods and the sea, the boardwalk connects the north with the south, and in its extensive 3-kilometer route, we can find bridges, viewpoints, staircases, and benches. A place prepared to awaken all the senses, recreate the view, get lost and meet, oxygenate the soul, exercise, share, fascinate day and night contemplating the sunrise or sunset.
Dock of Fishermen
On Paseo 129 there is the dock, dependent on the Club de Pesca, Caza y Náutica de Villa Gesell [Fishing, Hunting and Nautical Club of Villa Gesell], whose social headquarters is in front of it and its nautical shed is on Beach and Paseo 150. The dock is an unmistakable postcard of the city.
The dock is a block of reinforced concrete, 6 meters wide and 8 meters high, with a hill of 15 meters long and 5 meters wide that goes 150 meters into the sea, and 2 small side hills, where you can fish Atlantic silversides, rays, burriquetas and dogfishes throughout the year.
Walks and gastronomic circuits
Throughout the city, there is a varied gastronomic offer to satisfy the most demanding palates: fish and seafood, pasta, grills, and the inevitable pizza shop and fast food restaurants make up an interesting combination.
The traditional tea houses with their typical cakes, cold meat accompanied by craft beers and delicious fondues, will delight your senses and allow you to discover the flavor that distinguishes each culture in their kitchen.
